The sands of time slip away;
Heaven is calling the saints of all ages
Await God’s redemption day!
Even so come, Lord Jesus;

Sunset is falling, a new world is calling
My home for eternity!
This sin-stained world is lost in slumber,
As darkness covers their way;
But the saints are awaking as dawn‘s light is breaking
On God’s great redemption day!
All creation groans in pain and sorrow,
God’s children watch and pray.
Lifting hearts, hands and voices to God’s great redeemer!
It’s almost redemption day!
